Yet another adverse to KOA’s is their misleading labels. As an example the Joshua Tree/Palm Springs mentioned previously was lovely, however it is over an hour to get to Joshua Tree National playground after that. It’s nearer to hand Springs, but a half hr drive. It appears the KOA’s frequently use the name of a well known destination, but are many kilometers from that location.
